Prompt: What Sci-Fi/Fantasy book you'd like to visit
This is cheating a little bit, maybe, but I'd like to visit The Chronicles of Amber. Sword, sorceries, primal powers, magical tarot... but what really does it for me is that the setting contains everything. Amber is the heart of things, of course, but Amber casts shadows of itself and it's possible to travel through those shadows. With some way of controlling your journey and a bit of imagination, you could find any sort of world you like. Want to spend some time a lone in the middle of nowhere? Easy. Want a high-tech world with plenty of challenges? No problem. A magical kingdom where you're the long-lost monarch? Walk to it. It's all out there.
I said this might be cheating, because this strikes me as the equivalent of wishing for more wishes, but there it is.What book would you like to visit?
