"He's supposed to be dead," the solicitor explained, "But he won't go to a grave, he won't turn the house over as his own will demands, and now he's summoned things to keep people out. It could be centuries before his descendants manage to claim it."
"So you want me to... enforce the will?" Remant asked. He wasn't bothered by the prospect; he'd dealt with undead before, though not frequently.
The woman nodded. "My client -- his niece -- needs the house to be habitable, so she can sell it off. She plans to move to Foringelt."
"And she's offering one hundred gold from the sale to whomever makes it possible?"
"Yes. We have it on hand, ready for whomever completes the job."
"Huh." Remant considered that. "I'll right, I'll take it."
