Buy this book. Just... trust me. If you're the sort of person who reads my blog, then you're the sort of person who will love this book (and this series). It's on sale today for $1.99 on Kindle and Nook.
I read your blog but with the exception of one author (Terry Pratchett), I no longer read fantasy. If you want to sell me on this book, you'll need to up your game.
Yeah, see, this is why I'm not in sales or marketing. Um... great characters? Really awesome world-building? Not Swords & Sorcery set in some sort of pseudo-medieval Europe? Well-done dialogue? It's got all that.
I mean, if fantasy just really isn't your thing anymore, then this might not be for you. But if you still like fantasy concepts and playing with ideas, but you're tired of seeing the same-old, same-old... well, I'd give it a shot. Especially at $1.99 -- I mean, that's not much of a risk.
Feel free to leave comments; it lets me know that people are actually reading my blog. Interesting tangents and topic drift just add flavor. Linking to your own stuff is fine, as long as it's at least loosely relevant. Be civil, and have fun!
