We do not die of death

Poetry time on the Blog o' Doom:
MOTHER GOOSE'S GARLAND
Around, around the sun we go:
The moon goes round the earth.
We do not die of death:
We die of vertigo.

Archibald MacLeish
As a musing on mortality, this doesn't really work for me. However, it's an extremely apt description of certain days at work.
