Name: Tanya Anne Griffin
Codename: Sunset
Age: 41
Appearance: A tall (6') heavyset, matronly woman with brown eyes and hair dyed some bright color, bright clothes that go with her hair, a pleasant smile. Or anyone else she wants to look like.
Job: Activist, social worker, museum administrator
Tanya Anne Griffin is pretty much the perfect stereotype of the pro-anomaly activist: a politically-active hippy Unitarian whose parents used to try to chat with the FBI agents who had taps on their phone during the Vietnam War. Until recently, her official job was as junior administrator for a museum, but at the moment she's wanted by the FBI for questioning and has gone missing until she "gets that sorted out", a course that caused her to send her son Iris to live with his father Jinx at the Saint Vincent School for Exception Youth in the interim.
As Sunset, Tanya is a shapeshifter who excels at mimicry, impersonation, and doing highly unlikely things with her flesh, bone, and skin. She is limited to a broadly humanoid configuration, but can increase or decrease her mass by about 25% and has some startlingly horrific combat forms that she keeps memorized for emergencies -- mainly to scare people, as she is generally opposed to violence. Given time and concentration, she can also use her shapechanging power to heal herself, effectively shifting damaged tissues back together.
What really sets her abilities apart is that she can use them on other people, healing them or altering their appearances -- a set of abilities that she has used to cultivate connections with reliable allies on both sides of the law.
