But then, I always enjoyed the costuming/pretending elements of Halloween - in fact, I preferred Halloween over Christmas even when I was young. Of course, this touches why Halloween doesn...Whoa.<br /><br />Of course, this touches why Halloween doesn't make sense to me. 364 days of the year, parents teach their kids to be wary of strangers and never accept anything from them.<br /><br />Then on October 31, parent take their tots, dress them in costumes and push them onto doorstep after doorstep practically ordering them to beg each household for candy.<br /><br />Conflicting messages much?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
