The car I drive has the added advantage of being able to play MP3 files from a CD or allowing an external device (MP3 player) to it. So, now I just plug in an ipod loaded my my extensive and eclectic collection of music and completely forget FM ever existed. Its wonderful.

Occasionally I will turn on the radio on the way home, when, for example traffic has come to a halt and I want to know what happened and if I have any options to bail and take a different route.

Oh, and a major irritation in recent years has been the "DJ of station interviewing some guy" commercial. Its obnoxious because you don't realize its an advertisement for whatever product they're hocking that month. I radio is rarely used in my car. I'm not sure I'd even notice if the antenna became disconnected.Mikehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16716605205592469438noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4446682073857250843.post-90555936430882021402010-07-29T08:25:20.470-05:002010-07-29T08:25:20.470-05:00Nobody said anything about morality, sanity, or hu...Nobody said anything about morality, sanity, or human worth on the thread. I think the religion is not watching TV. N...Yeah... I think the religion is not watching TV. No one said anything about morality, sanity or human worth, so it sounds to me like you're trying desperately to play the [mock] victim.

Radio is stupid, though. If you have the internet, there's no reason to ever listen to the radio again.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02504734487692109101noreply@blogger.com
