I suspect that the commentators are either bots, or functionally illiterate in English, or both.<br /><br />I could reduce the number of these comments by turning off anonymous commenting, but I kind of like having an "anybody can reply" setup. And Blogger's SPAM filter seems to catch them pretty efficiently; most of these never see the light of day.
