[According to official church doctrine, Catholics can't leave the church. So ex-Catholics are just considered lost].<br /><br />Concerning suggestions, there really isn't much literature on this subject. The book "You Lost Me: Why Young Christians Are Leaving Church...and Rethinking Faith" by David Kinnaman, is really the only book I can think of. It came out last fall.
